Healing from Trauma

Jamie White Counseling helps clients process and recover from trauma, whether it’s a single event, an ongoing stressor, or repeated exposure to difficult experiences. Trauma can have lasting effects on the mind, emotions and the body, leaving individuals feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed.

In therapy, clients can choose from several healing modalities including applied polyvagal theory, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga or other mind-body integration techniques to support their healing journey. Jamie guides clients to safely process traumatic memories, regulate the nervous system, and rebuild a sense of safety and agency. Clients learn practical tools to reconnect with their bodies, reduce anxiety, and restore resilience, supporting long-term healing and emotional well-being.
